ECO4 GRANT – Trusted Service Provider | Energy Compliance Obligation (ECO)

What is the ECO 4 Grant Scheme?

The Energy Compliance Obligation (ECO) is entering its fourth stage and has already been in practice since March 2022 lasting until 2026.

The government’s Energy Company Obligations (ECO) provides a grant to cover the cost of your home efficiency improvements to low household incomes and also to those properties considered inefficient. Its sole purpose is to ensure energy saving measures, cut carbon emissions and consumer fuel bills - particularly with heating and insulation.

How Can We Help?

Eco Connect Network has decades of experience in this domain. With the latest Energy Compliance Obligation (ECO) government scheme, we provide fully-funded insulation and central heating grants. We can also offer renewable energy alternatives such as solar PV and air source heat pumps .

Eco Connect Network has nurtured long-term relationships with leading energy installers and contractors. We collaborate with them to ensure seamless ECO installations and to help in fulfilling the UK Government’s carbon reduction obligations.

What is the Goal of ECO4?

The goal of ECO4 is to assist UK households in achieving an EPC rating of at least a C. This, however, cannot be accomplished just by insulation. To do this, ECO4 will encourage landlords, homeowners, and contractors to improve their properties with a range of energy-saving techniques.

Eco Connect Network's installers must be PAS 2035 certified in order to conduct eco-friendly installations, and we have a TrustMark Approved Retrofit Coordinator to oversee all eco-friendly projects. PAS 2035 is a specification for what is called ‘whole-house’ or ‘whole building’ retrofit which means  all energy efficiency measures implemented within a property will be packed together and rated as a package for each property, as opposed to ECO3, when measures were evaluated separately.

From ECO3 To ECO4

ECO3 is the previous phase of the Energy Company Obligation with funding ending on 31 March 2022. The current ECO4 scheme has numerous changes including to qualifying benefits.
